Willo Prince (They/Them)
Willo Prince (they/them) is a queer Two Spirit from Nak’azdli Whut’en, otherwise known as ‘the place where arrowheads fly.’ Their home is in the northern lands of what we currently, uncomfortably and non-consensually call british columbia, canada.
Willo is committed to the abundance of our future ancestors and displays this among other Indigenous REZistances through their art, storytelling, and community organising. A disruption to the colonial agenda wherever possible is a necessity if we are to leave a legacy of clean water and riverbanks busting with salmon like the ones that nourished their Utsiyan as a boy. This ongoing process of colonisation and its myriad of symptoms seen across this settler-state, and all those that wear a similar mask, are entirely responsible for the climate crisis we are currently facing.
Until their inevitable return (and next biggest adventure) to Nak’albun, the very lake that made the matriarchs that have walked these worlds before them, Willo is deadset on living sustainably in abundances and futurisms where our Brown and Black relatives are free to rest, love, create and experience joy without the weights that have shackled our ancestors to this survivance
